Sprayman is an award-winning supplier of paint spraying systems to the construction, facilities, and property industries as well as painters, decorators, and other tradespeople. With over 200 years of combined experience between Directorship and senior management, their extensive expertise and knowledge distinguishes them from their competitors. Sprayman have excellent customer service and their friendly, and supportive approach builds long-standing relationships with their customers. 

The existing website was launched roughly two years ago on a propriety platform and has had continual growth.


The existing platform has functional limitations and development is slow and costly or not possible. This results in a less favourable browser experience and internal inefficiencies.  

There is a significant amount of manual effort for standard operations that drains resource and does not give employees the tools and information to offer the best customer experience.  

Mainly due to the lack of available functionality and integrations, data is not real time, and this results in inaccurate information shown to the browser and additional customer services effort – ultimately resulting in a weaker customer experience.  

The limitations of the existing platform and provider has resulted in a website that does not match the Client’s desired customer online experience. Areas of the website ‘work’ within the existing limitations, but the Client believes it can deliver a much better customer experience given the opportunity. 


To build a website on WooCommerce as it’s a market-leading platform that is constantly developed to include expected and modern features. 

Carefully consider the current business model and identify any areas that require optimisation. Automate and integrate to reduce repetitive tasks and connect Sage Accounts with the website to streamline internal processes.  

Improve user experience using automatic updates using real-time data and present this to users. Ensuring the system is up to date and improving transparency will ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set, and their experience is greatly improved.  

In addition, Sprayman required a web development agency that are able to understand their customer base, protect their brand, and are capable of implementing the technology to achieve the business requirements.

We provided Sprayman with an advanced ecommerce website, featuring a variety of functionality to improve the user experience for both staff and customers. The platform features intelligent upselling features and useful tools to help users identify the products they require.

Specific features

The checkout has been optimised to tackle the high bounce rate caused by customers abroad. The advancements identify the user’s location once their details have been submitted during the checkout process to provide a transparency regarding delivery costs. The checkout accommodates for customers purchasing from Europe and North America via the shipping rules. An instant, one-page checkout.

Attribute sets will be used in filtering, search and on other areas of the website. Sprayman provided the specific attribute sets relevant to the business which we could configure across the platform. These can then be applied and amended by Sprayman to provide a clear oversight and control of the system.

Specific product pages have been created for products with a high number of options and additional components. The product features as a single SKU with multiple options that dynamically calculate and display the price. This design has been created to increase the conversion rate on products by giving customers greater choice in the options and additional components available.
