Sellerdeck Payments by Opayo will be sunsetting on 31st May 2023. On the 1st of June, these payment gateways will no longer be available to process new transactions. We will maintain the service for an additional month to allow for refunds and downloading of reports.
Sellerdeck Payments by Opayo and Sellerdeck Payments by NMI are being replaced by SellerdeckPay powered by ClearAccept.
Features in detail
Sellerdeck Payments powered by Opayo is the replacement payment gateway for the NMI solution, to ensure Sellerdeck’s customers have access to the latest features including fraud screening and 3D Secure v2.
This payment gateway integration is available with Sellerdeck Desktop v18.1.1 and v16.1.1. Its not quite ready but when it is to download these versions please visit our downloads page.
Please note that the new PayPal integration called PayPal Commerce Platform is replacing the legacy PayPal integrations, which are removed from v18.1.X and v16.1.X. Click here for more information on PayPal Commerce Platform.

Deep integration for order processing features that saves you time
Manage payment tasks within the order within Sellerdeck Desktop, including:
- Commit pre-authorised payments
- Void transactions
- Refund transactions
- Take additional payments
- One-Click Order Completion Commits pre-authorised Sellerdeck Payments transactions automatically
Quickly complete these tasks and use the software to do the thinking for you, including adding up the refund amount based on cancelled line items, or calculate the additional payment based on the new item added.
Easy MOTO orders
Capture orders through Sellerdeck Desktop using the “New Order” tab within Sellerdeck Desktop. This fires up the payments page and links it to the order, meaning all the information and subsequent features (like refunds) are available in the order within Sellerdeck Desktop.
For account customers, Sellerdeck Payments stores the customers card token to enable further payments against an order directly from within the order screen. No need to ask the customer for their card details again and then take the payment at a virtual terminal.
Fraud screening with results in order screen
One of the biggest additional benefits to Opayo’s fraud screening is that it is instant, meaning you can immediately see the fraud results when the order has been downloaded.
Using the Opayo fraud screening tool and based on the result, a green or red button is displayed in the order tab within Sellerdeck Desktop and against each specific order.
The results from the fraud screening is also displayed to give you further information on what data points were checked and the score.
Fraud screening is an additional layer of protection, however you are taking responsibility for shipping the order and should follow your own internal processes to prevent fraud.
Its also worth noting that if a transaction passes 3D Secure and there was a ‘liability shift’ then you will not be required to pay the charge back (please speak with your merchant provider for terms on this).
The fraud screening tools isn’t the only way to prevent fraud. There are a number of other tools at your disposal, all managed within the online portal. For more information on the available tools and how to configure them visit here and select ‘fraud prevention’.
Opayo is compatible with 3D Secure and the new version 2. This is available as standard and only needs to be activated.
When enabling 3D Secure you have a range of options on whether you accept a transaction based on certain criteria. This is all controlled within the online portal and the user guide is found here and select ‘fraud prevention’ for information on how to setup rules.

Advanced reporting tools
Sellerdeck uses the Opayo infrastructure, including the online portal. In this portal you have access to all the transaction data and the standard reports.

The ‘Payments and Refunds’ report accessed via Sellerdeck Desktop in ‘Operations’ | ‘Reports’ | ‘Payment’, aids bank reconciliation by enabling the report to be run highlighting the transactions between two Sellerdeck Payment settlements, in any date or time range showing the actual settlement time of your Sellerdeck Payments account.
Payments page customisations
You have the ability to amend the look and feel of the payments page, including adding your own logo. To control these settings go to the online portal and go to ‘Settings’ and ‘Page Customiser’ on the left hand side.
Multi-site and Multi-currency
You have the option to use one account for multiple currencies and multiple websites.
PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance
