Sellerdeck Desktop Widgets
‘Widgets’ are packaged snippets of code that deliver functionality into Sellerdeck Desktop and your site. They will allow you to enhance your site in a quick, easy and cost-effective manner.
To access Widgets, you must download the ‘Widget Extension’ through the Downloads Page below.
Sellerdeck has built Widgets with the goal of self implementation, to give you the ability to add new features, quickly and in an affordable way. We have detailed the steps to implement Widgets on our forum, to view this please visit Sellerdeck’s Community.
However, not all Widgets are easy to implement or customise and may require a web developer’s involvement.
Widgets do not include implementation and support services and if you require implementation or support you will need to either approach Sellerdeck’s Professional Services team or an accredited Sellerdeck Partner. You can find a list of our partners by visiting our partner directory here.

Widgets and Features
Popup add to cart
Replaces the ‘add to cart’ bounce page with a configurable in-page popup. You can choose between two positions for the popup; show the last product added, or the full cart content; close the popup automatically after a specified time, or only when the user chooses; and change the popup heading.

CSS Compression Widget
If “Compact HTML/CGI/JS” is selected in the Design -> Design Options dialog, Sellerdeck Desktop applies a light compression to your site’s Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), but one that is not recognised by most automated site testing tools.
This widget applies a more robust compression that will improve your initial page load time, and enhance your score with Google Pagespeed Insights and similar analytical tools – provided “Compact HTML/CGI/JS” is selected as above.

Address Auto Complete For Orders
Adds ‘autocomplete’ tags that help browsers to correctly identify the function of each checkout field, leading to more accurate address completion

Enables tax-exclusive prices to be shown in the marketing lists

Sort Order Override
Set a different default sort order for any filter section.

Widget Extension Licence Key Request
All Widgets are free of charge for Cover or Desktop 365 Plus subscribers and are available from version 16 onwards. To activate the Widget Extension you will need a licence key (which requires renewal annually).
